Welcome to the website operated by Feathered Touch Electrolysis (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use and Service Agreement (“Agreement”) govern access to this website and the cosmetic services offered by the Company.

By accessing this website or scheduling services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Scope of Services

Feathered Touch Electrolysis provides electrology services performed by an appropriately licensed California practitioner. All services are cosmetic in nature and do not diagnose, treat, manage, or address medical conditions. Services are not healthcare services and do not replace medical evaluation or treatment.

Electrolysis is provided for the purpose of permanent hair removal in accordance with California electrology regulations and governed by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.

3. Client Responsibilities & Service Boundaries

Clients agree to provide accurate information relevant to services, including preferences and surface sensitivities, as voluntarily disclosed.

The Company reserves the right to modify or decline a service if it falls outside the Company’s professional scope, scheduled parameters, or operational policies.

4. Consent, Variability, & Assumption of Risk

Prior to receiving services, guests are required to complete consent and intake forms. You acknowledge that:

• No specific outcome is guaranteed

• Participation in cosmetic services involves inherent risks

By proceeding, you voluntarily assume responsibility for participation in services within this cosmetic context. Any documentation provided, including service summaries, is for personal records only.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any dispute arising from this Agreement or services shall, where permitted by law, be resolved through binding arbitration in San Luis Obispo County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. This does not prevent either party from pursuing claims in small claims court where applicable.

11. Changes to Agreement

This Agreement may be updated periodically. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

12. Appointments & Cancellations

Please remember to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be responsible for 50% of the appointment fee. This policy is necessary because a time commitment is made and held exclusively for you. If you arrive late for a session, you may lose some of your session time.
